This word is used a lot in the Quran, hence the importance of translating it right. It means that in a challenge to God, He will always win. No one can overpower Him or frustrate His plan. For the longest time, I couldn't zero in on one English word that would convey the same meaning until recently when I thought of out-power.

Excellent choice. An alternative I had thought of was "subdue" but that doesn't even come close to the utility of the word معجزين
