Quote:
{23:90} Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars.
{23:91} God has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is God above what they describe [concerning Him].
{23:92} [He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, so high is He above what they associate [with Him].
I suggest,
{23:90} Rather, We have brought them the truth, and verily they surely are liars.{23:91} God has not taken for Himself any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have walked away with what it created, and some of them would have overcome others. Sanctified is God of what they describe.{23:92} [He is] Knower of the Beyond and the witnessed, so exalted is He above what they associate [with Him].I like the accuracy in translating
من ولد, in 23:91, as "any son". The Arabic expression is exhaustive, hence "any" is the right word for it.
