Quote:
{76:4} Indeed, We have prepared for the disbelievers chains and shackles and a blaze.

I suggest,
{76:4} Verily, We have readied for the disbelievers chains, shackles and a Blaze.

Quote:
{76:5} Indeed, the righteous will drink from a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of Kafur,

Translator Muhammad Asad got both مزاجها and كافورا just right! I suggest,
{76:5} Verily, the virtuous [will] drink from a goblet whose flavor has been calyx,

It is interesting to notice that both كفر (to disbelieve) and كافور (calyx) share the same root! That common thread between them is coverage. The disbeliever covers the truth about God which he knows in his heart and the calyx covers the outside of a flower :-)

Quote:
{76:6} A spring of which the [righteous] servants of God will drink; they will make it gush forth in force [and abundance].

I suggest,
{76:6} A spring by which the worshipers of God [will] drink; they will make it gush forth quite a gushing.

Quote:
{76:7} They [are those who] fulfill [their] vows and fear a Day whose evil will be widespread.

I suggest,
{76:7} They fulfill the vow and fear a Day whose evil is flaring.

Quote:
{76:8} And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive,

I suggest,
{76:8} And they feed food, despite loving it, to a needy person, an orphan, and a captive,

Quote:
{76:9} [Saying], "We feed you only for the countenance of God. We wish not from you reward or gratitude.

I suggest,
{76:9} [Saying], "Verily, we feed you only for the countenance of God. We do not want from you a recompense nor [even] thankfulness.

Quote:
{76:10} Indeed, We fear from our Lord a Day austere and distressful."

I suggest,
{76:10} Verily, we fear from our Lord a Day grim and cataclysmic."
