I suggest,
{76:1} Has there come upon man a time during the aeon [when] he was not a thing [even] mentioned?

Quote:

{76:2} Indeed, We created man from a sperm-drop mixture that We may try him; and We made him hearing and seeing.

I suggest,
{76:2} Verily, We created man from a droplet, a mixture, that We may try him; and We made him quite hearing and quite seeing.

Quote:

{76:3} Indeed, We guided him to the way, be he grateful or be he ungrateful.

Love the use of "be he" here! I suggest,
